Also, if the woman talks "back" to her husband she would be branded a prositute? Sorry, if she "complains" she would be branded a prositute...Also what does being Muslim or not have to do with any thing? Really, where do you come from? Joannie, I think there are attractive and not so attractive people "every where". There are alot of very handsome Turks. Some have blond hair, blue eyes, brown hair, blue eyes etc. It really depends on the persons taste.

i am not married to a Turkish man, but was born in Turkey 48 years ago. (military birth) My mom always said that Turkish men were not attractive. do you find that the norm?

Wouldn't poverty be your first concern? And, of course, you will be second rate, a woman to make passes to, and if she complains, to brand her as a prostitute. Since you are not a Muslim. Or you can convert and be a second-rate Muslim. That would be a tad better.

Treats me very very well.. been with him a very long time.. (about 10 years) married.. and find him and his mates nd my mates in Turkey alot happier people to be around then back in England. All I can Say is... They Are Alot more proud and protective then english.. but to be honest its not to do with religion/background.. its the man himself

Very happy, and he treats me extremely well, and we've been together for 2 yrs now. no religion problems, it's not an issue for us. We live in Canada...we were both born here, but he has lived equal amounts of time in Canada and Turkey. We both have very open and loving families.

I'm a Turkish teenage and there are lots of foreign women who are married with a Turkish man in my school (so they live in Turkey)..I think they are happy and my old English teacher has a son who goes to my school too. But of corz I don't have the details about religion and families. And for Joannie W: Yeah, some of them don't look handsome but cool ones are more than them ;-) and we are so friendly people (I always support inner beauty) ;-)
