I want someone living in Turkey to give me advice please. I want to live there with one of my relatives but I need to handle all expenses by myself. Can some from Turkey tell me what are the expenses that you need to take care of and how are prices overall in clothes and food. thanks :) yes i want know about Istanbul...and im coming from Canada

Depends on the city you are going to live... For main cities like Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Adana: Monthly rent for a 2-3 bedroom flat at city center: 800 USD Monthly rent for a 2-3 bedroom flat away from city center: 500 USD Monthly traveling (in-city): 100 USD Monthly food expenses for one person: 750 USD Monthly clothing on the average for one person: 150 USD For smaller cities, take about 70% of the above.

it depends on where you come from?? i was chatting wtih many foreign people asian, africans find it expensive, americans and europians say turkey is cheaper in turkey oil is expensive , and some electronic tools are expensive too but clothes and food is cheap i think if u buy clothes with famous brands, as u can guess , it can be more expensive
