Apparently chestnut hair is medium to dark brown with red (as in maroon) or auburn (mine's maroon) tones .

the hair color in turkey is BROWN in general ,like southern italians, spanish, portuguese, mediterraneans european countries and greeks =) but of course alot blond, specially in egean region....... but in general mostly of turkish hair is brown dark ,brown clear... =)
