Can Americans easily buy a house in Turkey

Can Americans easily buy a house in Turkey.?
I think about everday being able to become a Turkish citizen and living in lzmir. When ever I look up real estate there though everything is in UK POUNDS! Why?! It seems like it would be a total hassle to buy a house there if I have to pay in pounds. I though their currency was the turkish lima so what gives? Any one familiar with the methods of doing this. I will always love my United States and will always be a US citizen however. But that is the beauty of Turkey and the US. I can be a Turkish American. Im so proud of both of these countires! Anyways if you have any info about my question please answer. Long live the USA and long live Turkey!

When I get older, I will be stronger They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving "Kurdish" Flag When I get older, I will be stronger They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving "Kurdish" Flag And then it goes back, and then it goes back And then it goes back Born to a throne, stronger than Rome But Violent prone, poor people zone But it’s my home, all I have known Where I got grown, streets we would roam But out of the darkness, I came the farthest Among the hardest survival Learn from these streets, it can be bleak Except no defeat, surrender retreat So we struggling, fighting to eat and We wondering when we’ll be free So we patiently wait, for that fateful day It’s not far away, so for now we say When I get older, I will be stronger They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving "Kurdish" Flag And then it goes back, and then it goes back And then it goes back So many wars, settling scores Bringing us promises, leaving us poor I heard "OCALAN" say, love is the way Love is the answer, that’s what they say, But look how "TURKS" treat us, make us believers We fight their battles, then they deceive us Try to control us, they couldn’t hold us Cause we just move forward like Buffalo Soldiers But we struggling, fighting for freedom And we wondering, when we’ll be free So we patiently wait, for that faithful day It’s not far away, but for now we say When I get older, I will be stronger They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving "Kurdish" Flag And then it goes back, and then it goes back And then it goes back When I get older, I will be stronger They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving "Kurdish" Flag And then it goes back, and then it goes back And then it goes back (Ohhhh Ohhhh Ohhhhh Ohhhh) And everybody will be singing it (Ohhhh Ohhhh Ohhhhh Ohhhh) And you and I will be singing it (Ohhhh Ohhhh Ohhhhh Ohhhh) And we all will be singing it (Ohhh Ohh Ohh Ohh) When I get older, I will be stronger They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving "Kurdish" Flag And then it goes back, and then it goes back And then it goes back When I get older, I will be stronger They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving "Kurdish" Flag And then it goes back, and then it goes back And then it goes back When I get older, when I get older I will be stronger, just like a Waving "Kurdish" Flag Just like a Waving "Kurdish" Flag, just like a Waving "Kuridish" flag "Kurdish" Flag, "Kurdish" flag, Just like a Waving "Kurdish" Flag.

Can't believe only trolls responded to this. Anyway, long story short, those sites are run by and mostly visited by British people because the majority of buyers in Turkey's west coast are Brits. But you can easily convert your money via a bank or a exchange office, that shouldn't be a problem. Though in my opinion the best way to buy a property is to personally see the house and the seller and negotiate a price etc. There are a lot of estate agents almost on every street everywhere in İzmir and Turkey Good luck greetings to USA!
