what is it like to live in turkey, specifically for muslims

what is it like to live in turkey, specifically for muslims ?
How do Muslims and nonMuslims get along? I like turkey because it seems to be one of those few muslim countries that don't overdo islamic sharia and add there own laws. i was thinking about going there because don't get me wrong I love the USA but the country is practically run by racist people who are anti islam, and i have a feeling it only going to get worse. God these people pathetic, i mean what is it with the whole insulting Allah , which happens to be the arabic word for God, especially when people who say they love God do it, it's not like muslims would ever insult Jesus (AS) just because a lot of us refer to him as Isa. lol I feel I just came here to vent, Ramadan Mubarak:)

Turkey is a very nice country and people get along very well. It's very much like Kuwait, where non-Muslims are given just as much importance as Muslims. Not to mention, they have such a nice cuisine and natural beauty. I live in Canada and I hate it here. The legal system is no good.

I assume its paradise compared to the US, here all muslims are supposedly terrorists and if a woman follows the words of Allah (by wearing a hijab) they are insulted so much and accused of terrorism....

Turkey seems like a good country. 99% of people in Turkey are muslims but it's a secular country which is good. Hijabs are banned there.

Im from Turkey. Your question is very general. In Turkey there are practicing and non practicing muslims. There is a little cold war between them such they dont let women to wear hijab in schools or in government places. Our secularism is kind of anti-islam secularism at some points but with Tayyip ErdoÄŸan its improving for a better secular system. We have big respect for foreign people and other religions. Just the public is little angry towards Israel. Well if you have specific questions you can reach me.
