I have a wonderful male friend there, I have known him 7 yrs or 8, I lost count. I met him once. He came to the USA to meet me, two yrs ago, and he is coming to see me in few weeks. He says that most women do not wear the head scarf there, as it is seen as a political thing. He prefers I do not wear it there. This bothers me alot, it also bothers me that he could help me out more, fiiacially , here, as I am in desperate need, but he sends small amounts and he is a wealthy guy.Does he do this so I will leave and marry him? Would you leave and marry him, would u give up hijab, your country, and life as u know it? I don't know Turkish. We are both Muslim-but I am a revert It seems like too many issues and it bothers me I am a grown woman, by the way, and have a teenage son. I just don't know what to do. My life there would be much better finacialy, but what else? I hve no idea.

Do not do it. If he really loves you he can move here. He's and idiot. He hs no right to control if his wife wears hijab. Stay in America, things will improve here- just find another brother. You will, insha allah. I know about Turk men- don't trust them. They promise everything and give nothing.

Aslam-o-Alikum, How are you sister? I am a guy, but I would NEVER give up my faith for someone....Hijab is mandatory and you shouldn't give up for anyone. Following what Allah has ordered you is more important than a ordinary man tell you to do. Also, sister I hope you know him very well, because that's a the biggest decision of your life, I would suggest you that you should talk to him, get to know him more...never trust anyone easily...May Allah protect you and all of the Muslims..Ameen I hope I helped
