Can somebody who is Turkish/Live in Turkey ONLY answer this question

Can somebody who is Turkish/Live in Turkey ONLY answer this question?
Hello , I would like to go on holiday to Turkey this year , the problem is, I am bothered by the rise of European tourists in Turkey , and would like to go somewhere where there isn't a lot of English/German/Russian e.t.c people. I don't in particular hate these people , don't misunderstand me as a racist- its just I've been living in Europe for a while now , and want to get away from these people, and the kind of culture where there are a lot of clubs playing dance/techno music , women/men who don't wear much clothes on the beach - I want to be in a dignified and moral atmosphere where I can relax while experiencing the culture of THAT country , NOT the culture of the European tourists. Note: I know its difficult to point out places where there isn't a lot of foreign tourists, but if you know anywhere in Turkey that is the ideal place with the dominance of that country's culture ( NO loud/dance/techno clubs, only places to dance in halay :) I would really appreciate it. Thanks. I would like people who are either Turkish and/or live and know the geography of Turkey quite well to answer this question. If anybody who originates from one of the European countries - please don't be offended by my question - I have just been living in a European country , and sometimes , you feel the need to experience a completely different environment/culture , that is why I'm upset about the rise of European tourists buying property in Turkey - the culture of that country becomes European because the local government in charge of tourism in holiday resorts wants to attract these foreign customers due to money, and the only way to do that is to turn the environment a little more familiar for the advantage of the European tourists, which is what my problem is. Thanks.

All of the well known towns cities etc in Turkey will have tourists in and will have a bar or two. However if you go to the East of Turkey, such as Van or Bitlis or any city in the East area, you will find that there are no tourists and its full of culture but can be quite uncomfortable as so close to Iraq etc. You will also find not a sole will speak English around those areas so you would need to learn to get by. I hope no one will take offence by anything I have said, after all i have just answered you question from my experiences.

Definately go sea the Black Sea region, which is the northern part of Turkey. Like you requested; there will not be many (or any at all) European tourists. Stay away from the western and southern shores, if you want peace and tranquility. I f you want to see some excellent cultural history landmarks; I suggest take a look at tours offering trips to Mount Nemrut (Adiyaman province), Urgup and Goreme (Nevsehir, Kirsehir provinces) ... I`d say don`t worry about being so close to Iraq, because Turkey is pretty safe compared to surrounding countries... I hope you have a wonderful journey!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSW9zxdoV38 Adiyaman is nice. there are hotels and tourist because of Nemrut Dag but its not like the tourist areas on the coast. Also Urfa is well worth a visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjKPCmVDa6U If you want the hustle and bustle of the city then try Gaziantep http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zBlBuXg7yY
