it is not about events of WWI, people commit immigration in order to achieve some thing, currently average income for a simple worker in armenia is less than 100USD per month while its at least ten times more in turkey, so why any one should be so dumb to go to armenia? during the war between armenia and azerbaijan. armenia will go vanished if iran and russia did not help them, this is because their country is so weak economically. there were small azeri turkish in armenia but armenian army slaughtered them all in 1988, see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khojaly_Massacre

I lived within the armenian community in istanbul for a long time..They're really happy and sweet.armenian church was there, armenian music cd's on the street , they celebrate the Easter (paskalya) ,all the patisseries display the eggs..etc. i mean there's no problem at all..Plus ,they have the same rights as the Turks .my friend is working in a very nice armenian marketing company in istanbul...anyways ,well this's what i know .when there's the good feelings and intentions ;you can live anywhere !
