Hey Aims, I don't see why you would be denied entry to the UK as long as you have a passport and no criminal record. Americans do not need visas for short visits to the UK. I'm an American and have never had a problem entering the UK. I went to Turkey this summer from London and had no difficulty leaving or re-entering the country. They might ask you about your purpose in Turkey and why you are visiting the UK, but I doubt they will interrogate you. I wouldn't worry about this at all. Have an awesome trip! : )

Why would you be? Are you a terrorist or a convicted felon? They might look real close through your stuff, but they won't keep you out just because you're coming from Turkey.
