I am really interested in knowing it.. I am a Turk, But I have never lived in Turkey, I know in some arabic countries it is legal to have 2 or more wives, which i am against . In my opinion it not normal and right to have many wives, so please write me with answer. THANKS SAGOL VAR OL.

I don't think it's illegal, but yet I think it's disrespectful to the neighbors around you. Makes them ashamed as having you as a neighbor.

It is recommended to have only one wife in Islam. See: "...marry women of your choice, two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (between all of them), then only one...." (The Noble Quran, 4:3)

it would depend what religion you are. two wives is called bigamy. more than two wives is called polygamy. one wife is called monotony.

No, Turkey is a modern republic. Only one wife allowed at the same time unless you don't divorce, legally.
