okay so im asian(filipino) and have a boyfriend in turkey and we are getting married 3 yrs later so what kind of visa do i need to go there ,I am living in US.I want to live in turkey with him so what do I need to do so that I could live there with him?

You can arrive on a tourist visa then apply for a residence permit once you're there. You'll need to show proof of funds in a Turkish bank, plus pay a fee (if you apply for the residence permit while married to a Turk, the fee gets waived). Before you sell up in the States and give up your career, I would suggest spending some time living in Turkey (perhaps telecommuting?) and seeing if you fit in well with the highly familial culture. As a foreign woman, be prepared for plenty of stares at the least.
