I have never been to Turkey. My Grandparents however are Turkish and the photos they have shown me are just quite remarkable to watch. It depends on which areas you choose to live as well.

Istanbul is an amazing place to live at. Just look at the photos and you'll see for yourself. It is like living in history. As a city that was once the capitol of the great Roman Empire there are lots of sights to see. The language won't be a problem, lots of people speak English, maybe not that fluently but they will understand you 90% of the time and Turkish people are very welcoming and are known for their hospitality and they will do their best to help you. The night life is amazing too. There are many awesome nightclubs and it is kind of like New York, kind of like the city that never sleeps. My friend's grandparents took a European cruise and they told him that Turkey was the most beautiful country included on the tour and it was their favorite.

Language wont be a problem, most of the people can speak english a lil bit but not in the suburbans :) If you want to live in Istanbul you must prepare yourself for the traffic coz its too much annoying. Bosporus is the center of the city try not to go far away from the Bosporus , but this side of the city is more expensive(Renting prices approximately 1000 usd) than the other sides.. There is 44 universities in the city so there is too much students like you so you dont be alone and as said before Turkish people are so hospitable dont worry :)
