Pros: Friendly country, Great social life. Beautiful beaches Freedom! Exellent food. 4 season country. cons: Human rights needs to improve still Traffic and driving sutiating in Turkey also needs to improve a lot. low wages but more hours of wok compare to europe! can't think abouth anythingelse.

pros GOKHAN KESER good climate friendly ppl food :D good nature improving lifestyles and economy; huge changes according to 20years before cons low wages in general (in istanbul it's hard to survive with them, in other cities it's ok, but 1euro=2 liras so you spend at least twice when you want to go to europe) traffic!!! esp in istanbul wrong urbanization esp in istanbul!! too much immigration from east esp in istanbul!! exploding population with biggest contribution of kurds well i didnt feel any human right violation, i dont throw stones to police cars or i dont attempt to enter public buildings with turban. i wont put down here the cliche statements of reports of eu; they provocate kurds and religious ppl but again they go after their provocation groups' human rights.

Pros: You don't have to go abroad for a decent holiday. Awesome music and food. You never get bored, but it depends on the city you live I guess. If you live in Istanbul there's always something to do, some place to go, some event to attend. A lively country. Most of the people are hard working, friendly and polite. Cons: Traffic. There should be more "green" in our cities. Awful town planning. Some attitudes of people. We call those attitudes "a la turka", a term that describes the inefficiency and bizarreness in our good old "Turkish" ways. I don't condone the usage of the term though but it's helpful to explain what I mean here.
